Religious and Spiritual Crisis

Your religion and/or spirituality is your sanctuary for finding inner wisdom and guidance as you navigate difficult times. Depending on where you seek this support, churches, religions, “Christians” can often leave you with more feelings of shame than love and hope. So many people interpret the words in (insert your religious text here) in different ways and sometimes those interpretations can be darts that serve to hurt and wound your soul. When you feel that you are questioning your faith or you recognize that you believe something different, then the world feels heavy and different. What if really acting on that shift in your perspective could leave you with an entirely different relationship with your friends and family, or worse, without them.

Anger is now evolving in this divided world. Your differing beliefs could lead to belittling, frustration and name calling because the climate for tolerance and independent thought is only appropriate if you fit the religious mold. If you stray from any “group think” you are berated, and questioning faith, religion, or church, could be a lonely place to find yourself, so you continue to be quiet despite the inner turmoil.

A Healing Path Counseling understands this turmoil. The healing starts with you and we are not afraid to stand with you.
