Welcome

Welcome to what may be your first step (or another of many steps) in your healing journey. Wherever you are on your path, I will meet you and walk alongside you. My purpose is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals wanting help with various issues. Seeking therapy can be a vulnerable step, and I’m here to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment for your healing journey.

Education

I received my bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University in criminal justice with a minor in sociology. I began my career path working with youth in residential treatment and in the juvenile justice system. I was then called to dedicate the next decade and a half to serving children and families impacted by foster care and adoption. During that time I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston – Graduate College of Social Work and subsequently became licensed to practice social work in the state of Texas as well as a licensed child placement administrator. I currently work under the professional supervision of Dayna Gurley, LCSW-S, CCTS, ACM, and under the clinical supervision of Erin K. McKinney, LCSW-S.
